How to use YJA and a Proxy/Deputy service.

Hello!
This is my first blog. It's aimed towards figure collectors and anime related themes.

I went ahead a set up a walk-thru on how to use amazing sites such as: Yahoo Japan Auctions: Which is the Walmart of figures for collectors.

1. Access YJA.
You'll notice that everything is in Japanese. Now when you navigate this site for whatever you're searching for you want to make sure you have the actual Japanese name and text for the item. (Copy and Paste will be your best friend.)

2. Copy and Paste
Make sure you have each letter copied. If you know how to read/write in Japanese and have a keyboard setting for it, the better. If you're having trouble finding the item's Japanese context, Google Translate is great for that!

3.Find your desired item.

Find your desired item and copy the URL of that item's page.

4. Using your proxy service:
As some of you might know, YJA is a bidding site just for the country of Japan. But not to fear! There are deputy sites! My preferred site is: http://www.fromjapan.co.jp/
Now, this site will help you when it comes to purchasing/winning the bid on the item. You take your URL from YJA and paste it to your left side where it says:  Fast bidding/Shopping page
and where it says:  Auction ID.
5.Accessing YOUR bidding page.
Once you place your URL you'll be brought to this page ^^
Your bidding page. This is where you'll navigate your desired bid amount and give you the ability to bid.
Now in the bottom left corner: Available Deposit: You MUST deposit funds before bidding.
6. Deposit
You must add a deposit before bidding/purchasing an item.
After entering your deposit you'll be able to bid freely, on multiple items! Long as you enter the amount that the bid is currently placed at or starting at. YJA also has a "Buy it now" It is called:"Prompt decision" . When it is prompt decision you must access the bidding page and place the Prompt decision price for your desired Item and at that point you have automatically bought it.
7.Finalizing bids/navigation bar:
Once you bid it will show up in your navigation bar (which makes the site  very easy to navigate.) You may also add an item URL into your watch list: your watch list will give you a break down on when the item ends and an option to bid right then and there on the watch list page instead of using the Auction ID page. Also "Snipper Bids" which for some people are: "Automatic Bids" are an option on FromJapan.

Other than that, this is my little walk thru on an  easy service. It took me a bit at first to understand but I meddled around enough and now get it. Any further questions, ask away! Always willing to help!!!
