Figure Shopping!

Recently I've been asked frequently where do I get my figures or how much do I spend ? Now anime figure collecting is a very exciting hobby(any figure collecting in general is!) there's such a thrill and happiness that goes into it but it is also extremely DANGEROUS when it comes to your financial situation. Yet it is still so rewarding. Most people misunderstand how it works, you don't just google a character you like and add in the word:"Figure" I mean sure things will pop up, but sometimes it's best to be exact. Step #1 to successful hunting is: Finding a reliable site!!!So I'm going to take a plunge and ask a question that took me quite a bit if confidence to ask ;). Your face, you, you in general.... I'd love to see ;). But I understand if you wouldn't want to take a picture or anything. I'd hate to inconvenience you. Just want to pleasure your eyesight  (Cannot stress that enough !)  Japan Auctions! The Walmart of figures ! I have won bids for 1¥(¢97) on the site! So it's one of my absolute favorites! Just a little hard to use but scroll down and you'll find my tutorial on how to order from them. Since they're foreign they do not ship to the US or any country outside of Japan so you will need a Deputy site:FromJapan(my favorite)will help you acquire these items you want to bid on. My tutorial explains the process. Now a lot of people just use EBay , now use AT YOUR OWN RISK. Bootlegs are ALLLL over , and some are just too good to tell the difference! Bootlegs are a big no❌ and usually have terrible quality. Example:Mikasa Figma, if you bought her on eBay for $20... She's a fake. Another source for finding figures that have been released is :Myfigure! This is a independent way of buying in which you interact with the individual selling the item and use Paypal. I've bought quite a bit of my figures off individuals on the site. Now people have asked what sites do I use often to preorder: Amiami is one of the most affordable ones but I do recommend HLJ as well! As for preowned or released: Big Bad Toy store can have a great selection and is US based, Myfigure, and Yahoo Japan(I use these the most!) Each of these sites are very different so please do your own research to see which one suits you and your pocket!  NOTE: I do NOT know anything about: DC, Marvel, Disney,Alien, video game, based figures , some of these sites might have them so give it a look but can't help you there.
